1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy applies to all orders placed through the Ashbury Secure Solutions website (ashburysecure.co.uk), operated by Paola Iraca, a Sole Proprietor registered in France. We sell physical security and privacy products and want to ensure every customer has a clear and fair experience when cancelling or returning an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.
2. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at support@ashburysecure.co.uk. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed.
- If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it in full and issue a complete refund to your original payment method.
- If your order has already been dispatched before your cancellation request is received, the cancellation cannot be processed and you will need to follow our returns procedure instead (see Section 3).
3. Returns and Cancellations After Dispatch
In accordance with your rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and applicable French consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order and return physical goods within 14 calendar days of receiving your items, without providing a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel and return an item, please notify us within 14 days of delivery by contacting us at support@ashburysecure.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Once we have confirmed your return request, you must return the item(s) to us within a further 14 days.
To be eligible for a return and refund, items must meet the following conditions:
- Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging.
- Items must not have been damaged, altered, or used beyond what is necessary to assess their nature and functionality.
- Any accessories, manuals, or included components must be returned along with the product.
Please note that the following items are excluded from our standard return policy unless they are faulty or not as described:
- Products that have been personalised or custom-configured to your specification.
- Sealed hygiene or safety products that have been opened after delivery (e.g. certain personal safety items).
4. Return Shipping
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit on return. If an item is confirmed to be faulty or was sent in error, we will arrange or reimburse the cost of return shipping.
5. Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s), we will notify you by email of the outcome. If the return is approved, a full refund of the product price will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return. If you cancelled before dispatch, we will issue the refund within 5 business days of confirming the cancellation.
Please note:
- Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or sent in error.
- If only part of an order is returned, only the cost of the returned item(s) will be refunded.
- Refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@ashburysecure.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate, including any return shipping costs, in accordance with your statutory rights.

Please include your order number, the email address used at the time of purchase, a description of the item(s) you wish to return or cancel, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us directly at support@ashburysecure.co.uk before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving all issues fairly and promptly, and in most cases we can find a suitable resolution without the need for a formal dispute process.
